A TOTAL of 15 doubles teams took part in the Parent and Child challenge at Great Missenden Lawn Tennis Club, with the event drawing in players of all ages and abilities.
Because of age gaps, organisers split the competition into two, with Will Gibbs and his dad Torquill emerging winners in the age group contest for older children, with Emma Taylor and dad Stuart Taylor runners-up.
The winners of the younger group were Finn Mason and mum Lindsay Mason, with the joint runners up Alfie King and mum Amanda and Oscar Marshall with mum Clare.
Dave Wingfield ran the event with clockwork precision, with help from Tom Wingfield, while Andy Fyfe provided tennis balls and prizes.
