Boys serve up great tennis

PUPILS at Backwell School were awarded bronze at the National Tennis Finals held in Bolton.

The Backwell School Under 15s boys tennis team played against three other schools in the UK at the National Indoor Arena.

Head of PE at Backwell School, Paul Stephens, said: "This is a fantastic achievement for our boys.

"The experience we had over the weekend was great.

"This really is tennis of the very highest standard.

"It is down to the hard work these boys put into training week in, week out, all year round".

Backwell are now ranked 12th in the UK in Boys Tennis.
